Part of our church visions is to 'love our community.'  As a church we want to shine God's love to our community and be a blessing to Berkhamsted by responding to the needs of our community.

As a church we serve our comunity in a number of ways, including:
  • Mums & toddlers Group- On both a Monday and Tuesday we run a mums and toddlers group, where we offer support and reach out to mums in the town.
  • Friday night Youth Outreach Project- We run a youth outreach project working with a wide range of young people. Every Friday night we hand out free bacon rolls and bottled water from our building providing a safe space for them. Sharing the love of Christ with them.
  • HOPE Food bank- We have a food bank where we support a wide demographic of people in the town, from single mums to the elderly.
  • Christmas Market- We run a community Christmas fair, all the profits from the event go to support our missionaries abroad but, it also serves as a great bridge between us and the community.
  • Christmas Food hampers to the Elderly- every Christmas we give out food hampers to Douglas Gardens and Lagley House, which are supported accomodation for the elderly. Many of these Elderly live alone and christmas can be especially hard for them.
  • Ladies Breakfasts- Throughout the year we host ladies breakfasts, these serve as a morning of uplifting and encouragement, not only for the christian women in the town but for anyone.
  • Supporting many overseas missionaries- As a church we support many overseas missionaries serving in a wide range of countries, such as; India, Burundi, South Afria and Czech Republic.
